Madame Thibaut - plant

Hybridiser: Victor Lemoine, 1865
Hailing from France, i reckon it could be named after Marie Antoinette's favourite hand maiden? especially since her name also entails differing spellings - sometimes 'Thibout' and spelled both with & without the letter L in it.

Madame Thibaut - flower

me so happy!!!!!!!! i got one that was one my wish list, Madame Thibaut/Thibault a while back but it was so badly damaged that i was sure it would die. i was left with only the littlest top and two small leaves. but after two months of struggling, here it comes! i'll keep it shaded so that it doesn't turn too pink.
since Madame T is now off the list, i can add a new one, he-he :-}
