flower, again ...

i've had problems catching the colour of P. sidoides, one of my favourite pelargoniums. i've tried too many times, even borrowed other cameras to make it work, but the pix would always come out too red. these shots are better, colour wise.

i adore the combination of the silvery leaves and the purple, almost black flowers of P. sidoides. each flower is 17 mm max but they grow on a fine twisting stem that can become more than a meter long!
this specie grows in a large area of South Africa, in anything from the lowlands to the mountains.
