today it was time to water again - haven't for a while, as the rain has done a pretty good job. that's when i noticed that Berta had decided to join the ball. what a quaint and modest name for such an elegant and poetic flower! it is so white that i found hard to take a picture in the sun, it frankly shone in my eyes... ok, i'm in love, i admit it...i adore the way the petals sits in a perfectly round rosette, each of them being a tiny little bit pointed. the simplicity and the pure white made me oh! & ah! forever, i didn't expect something so exquisite from good old Berta :-)
